Abstract
This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of NAA and sucrose on bulblet formation from floral and vegetative bud culture of Album sativum C. V. Namdo (warm area type) and indigenous variety Muju (cold area type). The growth of leaf and stem were fast in floral and vegetative bud culture, formation of flower took 30¡60 days. Root differentation was proceeded 60 days after culture. When Compared with bulblet number and weight formed in vitro NAA 0.1 §·/ §¤ with sucrose 9 or 12% addition were good in C. V. Namdo and NAA 0.1 §·/ §¤ with Sucrose 3 or 12% addition were excellent in C. V Muju. Between normal bulblet with milk - white color and abnormal bulblet with transparence - Auxesis examined. The highest combination of normal bulblet at NAA 0.1 §·/ §¤ with sucrose 9% was 82% in C. V. Namdo and at NAA 1.0 §·/ §¤ with sucrose 12% was 94% in C. V. Muju. The more sucrose concentration, the more normal bulblet rate increased. The results examined sprouting rates between normal bulblet and abnormal bulblet after planting in floral and vegetative culture were 27% at normal bulblet 4.4% at abnormal bulblet in C. V. Namdo, 10.8% at normal bulblet 3.4% at abnormal bulblet in C. V. Muju. After wintering, plant height and number of leaves were less in floral- and vegetative-cultured than that in meristem cultured.
